we officially got 18"+ inches of snow, it was wicked, closed the highways down, the streets outside our house were drifting 4-5' tall.

Damn, 18inches! I heard about the Interstates shutting down, I'm glad I didn't decide to go out snowboarding yesterday.

Its still snowing a little bit here and its windy as fuck too. Weather channel says gusts up to 50mph.

Its hard to tell how much snow we got here with all this wind but 3-5 inches was predicted and that seems accurate.

the wind made is wild, sure 18" is alot, butwhen its blowing, you get drifts like 4-5' high. seen roads drifted completely shut, like outside christmas tree's completely gone, was fairly wild.

Oh my god did we get dumped on.

We probably got about 16 inches, and its drifting like a motherfucker.  My back is so sore from shoveling the drive.

I had to shovel for 3 and a half hours today. Usually I like winter, but I think it's safe to say today:

Fuck snow

My back hurts and I'm fucking grumpy as hell and I had to get to work today too.

Yesterday I saw my elderly neighbor laying down in the side of the road, I helped her up and then shoveled her car out for an hour, so I got my good deed in.

I got payed back when this morning I was stuck trying to get to work for about 30 minutes and some kind neighbor helped me shovel out and pushed me off. Then I got stuck on the way home within sight of my house because another car was stuck and blocking the road so I had to stop. Then I reversed 3 blocks and almost made it onto a clear street but a car was coming so I had to stop and got stuck.

Not to mention the hours of shoveling the front, side and back walks.

Fuck snow.

First snowday of the year here, complete with 7degree lows and 40mph wind gusts.

I'm celebrating with a little methylone and frank zappa by the xmas tree.  yummmmmm.

That is genius. I wish I had one of those.
I had to shovel for another half hour, and move my car again after being on hold for 40 minutes with the city. What a pain in the ass.
