A sexual addiction is more like a food addiction, it is a requirement in healthy living.  When you overindulge and it affects your life you have a problem.  Watching porn doesn't affect everyone's social life, if it did our population would have a lot more socially retarded people.  The article does remind me of the episode of Seinfeld were George got extremely intelligent when he stopped having sex, and Elaine got extremely stupid when she gave up sex.


I know it doesn't affect everyone's life, that's like saying drugs affect everyone's life negatively. I just found it interesting how much it can affect your brain like an actual addiction if done too much, with the flooding of dopamine and all that which I didn't know before.
