Stress
    #13569690 -

I think as people, we are naturally inclined to stress about something, at all times.

But do we have to? Is it possible to get over mindless stressing?

Think about it. . .

9 years ago for me, I was 10. I remember laying in my bed one night, feeling very trapped in this world, and I said "I'm going to close my eyes, and when I wake up, I will be 16. Then I will have a car and be free."

Much to my surprise, I closed my eyes, went to bed, I woke up, and I'm almost 20.

Did that stress really need to take place? No. I didn't need to worry about that shit. Now I find myself sitting here stressing about things. More important things for sure, because I'm older, have bills, and such is life.

But do I need to? Tonight I'll go to bed, and I'll wake up 30 years old. Another decade gone by, and I'll think back.. "Shit, did I REALLY need to worry about that stuff?" No. No I did not. Cause at the end of the day it isn't that big of a deal.

Why are we living our lives so stressful. No one takes their life day to day.
We can't just wake up, say good morning, do what we have to for that day, and fall asleep. Can we.

Instead we wake up, turn on our brains, and think.. "Omfg, I'm so screwed! One more week and this bill is due! I'm broke!" Logically that makes sense to think like that, because if we don't, it may never get taken care of.

But is it worth it?
We are slowly killing ourselves with this un-needed stress.

I'm going to try and live my life day by day, and not worry so much about future issues. When the day comes, that I need to face it. I will. I'll stress about it for one day only, instead of days, weeks, months, or even years in advance.

My life is passing me by so fast, and I do believe that stress is a main factor. I'm just looking "To get past it" when I shouldn't. I should be looking "To live in today, and worry about tomorrow.. tomorrow"

Anyway. Sorry this was so long. I just needed to type it out, and see if anyone else was interested in my new findings in my life.

Its true

but op is on to something

being optimistic and stress free is a choice for some people.

For me i only feel that way when i do drugs

so i do drugs

i have found an appreciation for life before and i know i can again but i have a long road ahead of me

we can be stress free if we choose to be IMO

I'm pretty much never stressed out .  I don't really understand how stress works, it basically never happens to me.  During exams, if I have a ton crammed into a short period, I tend to not sleep well, but I attribute that more to studying all day every day - when I want to go to bed I can't turn my brain off.

same here, I even worked for a guy that was probably the worst employer
ever to work for, fucker flipped his lid about something almost every
hour, I've had him cuss me for 10-15 minutes at a shot even on a job site
for shit I wasnt even responsible for because I didnt work for his
distributors... all I ever did was stop working and let him go, I get paid
either way, I just wish I could have charged the psychiatrist rate for all
that time spent listening to him try and have a coronary

he'll be quick to say "you cant piss him off no matter how hard you try
because he just dont give a fuck"

it always led me to believe that fuck is the secret to happiness

The key to dealing with stress is frequent and noisy masturbation. Most Doctors won't tell you because they are ashamed but will try and give you a pill. just count to 100, then jerk off. no more stress.

I think about this almost everyday. I have a major probem with anxiety. I just cant help letting it get to me. My friends tell me I care too much which is probably true.

I am a true believer that stress does infact effect your physical well-being. being as young as I am and after stressing hard core everyday almost I have a lot more physical ailgments than anyone I know my age(18-22). I have cronic back pain due to stress, and many other issues which I believe are in one way or another made worse or caused by my stress.
