Seek pleasure, avoid pain.  Going to school, studying, doing your best now is a way of delaying gratification in order to maximize your pleasure later on in life.  That pleasure may be screwing hookers, getting high, or raising a family with a white picket fence.  It's all fucking pointless, but orgasms and getting high feel pretty damn good and if I can secure infinite cumshots and endless amounts of shrooms, cactus, and DMT by working the system, then I will do it.

In your doing drugs youve missed the point of doing drugs. Working your life away so you can buy drugs is double retarded.

You missed the point. Substitute drugs with anything that brings you pleasure.  You asked why bother with college, a family, working?  They are a means to an end.  The end is happiness.

Some of us lucky ones derive happiness from the means as well as the ends.  That's the trick, fool. hehe.

Anything you pay thousands of dollars to learn in college you can learn on the internet for a monthly fee.

If that is the case then you arnt getting the most out of your education.  If you only want to learn what you could off of the internet, then that is what you will get.  There is no way I could have learned what I did in college by going on the internet and going to the library.  Thats why I went to college.

I agree that many people waste their college experience by only doing the bare minimum and learning what they could have just learned by a book.  But people are free to waste their money and their college experience if they want.

That stuff is so obvious that it doesn't need to be stated. Not insightful if you ask me.

If life is so bad, kill yourself, "get busy livin or get busy dying ."
While you sit and ponder about life, someone who has it way worse
physically/financially desperately seeks what you take for
granted.  Everything is relative, thats how are mind's works, we learn
through comparison.  So many wish they had the luxury of free time
you use to piss and moan," is anything worth it?"  Life sucks than you
die, deal with it, there arent many other options.  Quit smoking so much
weed and find something that makes life worth living for you.  If you claim
no such thing exists, you havent looked.

i see what you guys are saying. Go back to sleep! Stop thinking so much, what's the point in gaining any kind of understanding that a professor hasnt given you? Blame weed, it's what makes you think so much. Ive been thinking since before i was conscious of it, why would i stop? Your point is ridiculous, i couldve been born disabled or in a third world country, or both. but i wasnt. I like the advice here though, fill your life with things, meaningless activities, and pompous attitudes, that should get you off of thinking about actual life.

you made that up. never said anything about not having a family and the other 2 are purely for money. you already stated what you use your precious money for, i get it, you like money.

Everyone does.

But what seperates the men from boys is that they shut the fuck up and deal with it.

BULLSHIT. people like you are the reason the world is fucked up. you keep your mouth shut and do what youre told, a quality that has gone from a sign of weakness to a trait of a good wage slave.

So why are you bitching on a bulletin board instead of being in charge of your own life?

What #9 said is true regardless of whether you're "a conformist little worker bee" or working to tear down the system.

He didn't say conform, he said shut the fuck up.

deal with it i.e accept it.

sounds like giving up to me.

And cowards like you are the reason it's left to assholes to determine how the world is run. You want a different life, you have to create it. Every one of you guys who actually had the balls to grasp their dream is now living off of their own means "off the grid," not sitting on the internet bitching that it costs money to eat food.

i never mentioned living off the grid. it just so happens that the grid you speak of where we all live in merriment. im just asking some questions, if youre so happy with your so called life then more power to you, you shouldnt be so defensive. it's good to see someone "grasping their dream" haha.

You're apparently too blind or retarded to read what others say without turning it into something that fits into your moronic "iconoclast in a mall in new jersey" worldview. You deserve every little bit of the future that awaits you, my friend.

that's so witty. i know what you spend all your time thinking about

you can learn anything off the internet. is it that im not getting the most out of my education, or youre not getting enough from the internet?

OP's mind is soft.  Everyone is giving you the advice to make the best of life,
you make the worst of it.  Your so intelligent, you see what we cant.  So
intelligent that you see lifes not worth living/enjoying, even though its all you
have or likely will ever have.  You are an example of darwinism.  A creature so smart that its actually retarded and kills itself.

im definitely not poid. Even if i were that wouldnt make what i said originally any less true, you fuckers know that when it comes down to it you have no idea why you do anything, i just started thinking about it before droning out became too routine for me. im just trying something different, i know it's different because people react 1 of 2 ways.

They agree and say good luck

or they act like pissy little bitces, say i smoke too much, and suggest i set a goal and chase a dream! Someday we'll all be rich right?

rich soil.
