I lack motivation

I cant help but think what's the point? of ANYTHING. We live in a pretty fucked up world, and right now its beauty is being overshadowed by that fact. SO why bother?


Going to college
Getting married
Working
anything else people place importance on.




it's all bullshit that we've created to distract ourselves from the ultimate truth.... you were born as a grain of sand in an hour glass, and when your hour is up, that's it. We are only granted one hour in this place, why spend a single second on the irrelevance that has engulfed us as human beings?

What are you going to do instead?  Post on the shroomery?  Just do what you want - if you dont want to go to college then dont go, most people dont.  If you dont want to get married, then dont.  Most people get divorced anyway.  If you dont want to work, then dont.  There is a huge population of the willfully homeless in the U.S. and free food at every major city.

If you cant get daily satisfaction out of doing regular stuff, then your entire life is going to be a depressing waste.  The onus is on you and you alone.

regular stuff. the standard for what constitutes regular has changed DRASTICALLY in the last couple hundred years. You feel ok with being what is considered "regular" in america? regular these days is borderline sociopath.

no one is going to say anything useful though... they are IN IT. they don't care.

all people care about is their own brains, so this world isn't gonna get much better, considering no one can be together with their brains dictating the paths they choose.

I hate college but i am finsihing up my degree.  I never plan to get married and i dont at least now plan to have kids.

This world is total bullshit but at least we got technology- music,internet,shows,etc.....

im in college and the past two weeks ive just been staying home and watching tv all day instead of going to class

I know exactly what you mean #1, but you do have options. You can go in the moutains and live off the land. I'm not trolling, I'm serious. If I didn't have a family I would REALLY like trying to surivive by my own two hands, at least for a little while. There are also many aboiriginal tribes throughout the world that may let you joiin their tribe if you proved you wanted to live off the mother earth and cast any desire to be connected to the modern world. Till then, here ya go

Yeah I think art, music, creativity and self expression are important, we are all just part of one huge evolving idea, the pinnacle as far as we know of the most complex biological system in the universe/multiverse, who knows where it will end?

We all contribute, all you can do is know you tried your hardest and did your best. Live for pure hedonistic pleasure if nothing else, it's as valid as any other lifestyle provided it doesn't infringe upon others. There are no rules and no way of measuring meaning/importance. The scary thing is it's what you make it, nothing more, nothing less. Responsibility is a bitch.

Seek pleasure, avoid pain.  Going to school, studying, doing your best now is a way of delaying gratification in order to maximize your pleasure later on in life.  That pleasure may be screwing hookers, getting high, or raising a family with a white picket fence.  It's all fucking pointless, but orgasms and getting high feel pretty damn good and if I can secure infinite cumshots and endless amounts of shrooms, cactus, and DMT by working the system, then I will do it.

i like to learn as well, that's how i got to this point. from learning, realizing that the rich are the laziest most manipulative people alive. Anything you pay thousands of dollars to learn in college you can learn on the internet for a monthly fee. Youre not keeping your options open, youve lost options in the waste of (fake)money that you couldve spent becoming self sufficient, or aquiring something useful. That piece of paper may get you more paper but in the long run it doesnt make you more intelligent, it made me question why i was actually in school in the first place. If i were there to learn there was no reason to be there when i could be at home learning for less.
