did she dream about it before hand?

I dunno... maybe I should ask her, I know she's had dreams about other
events, one in which my great grandmother told her my father was going
to kill her, I missed the bus the morning that one started to unfold.
3 weeks later he was arrested for a contract killing, just prior to my mom
almost shooting my dad in the street, my mom reported the details and the
cops didnt even try and stop it

On 21 April 2005, Anna Ayala was arrested by Las Vegas police on charges of attempted grand larceny pertaining to the Wendy's case.  Police later determined the mysterious finger Ayala claimed to have found in a bowl of chili came from an associate of her husband's, who lost his fingertip when it was severed in the tailgate of a truck during a work accident at an asphalt maintenance company and evidently gave the digit to a co-worker to settle a $50 debt. In September 2005 Ayala and her husband, Jaime Placencia, pled guilty to conspiring to file a false claim and attempted grand theft.  In January 2006, Ayala was sentenced to nine years in prison and Placencia to twelve.

Good lord, I never saw this follow up.

She went to the trouble of acquiring a finger that had been bartered as debt tender and brought it to the fast food and tried to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. The end result is probably the last thing she would've wanted.

She expected a big pay out to keep her quiet but what she got was nine years in the pen. I bet she's quiet now, though.
