New Big Budget Toxic Avenger Movie Coming Out!

#13442308 - 11/06/10 08:41 AM (15 years, 11 months ago)

Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink will helm the remake of The Toxic Avenger. This reminds me of something i will like to talks about if you care to listen. Let us not get ahead of ourselves. I repeat, lest not let us be the ones who get ahead of ourselfs. Look. I grew up in a rural neighborhood. My father was a pastor. A goddamn pastor...and now I'm an atheist. And guess what? I like the TOXIC AVENGER....I said it....I grew up on that shit. So my father and the heavens and all the trash that is spewed from the mouths of babes....guess what....I WILL WATCH THE GODDAMN MOVIES AND I WILL NOT BE CHASTISHED FOR IT. LOOK, I LIKE HORROR MOVIES....OK....I SAID IT....WHAT DOES THAT MAKE ME????? AM I A BAD PERSON......WE ALL HAVE A DRIVE AND SOMETIMES I WONDER WHY WE EXIST IF ONLY TO LIVE IN FEAR AND NOT IN LOVE. AND THAT'S WHAT MY DAD DID....THAT'S WHAT MY BASTARD FATHER DID GODDAMNIT.....HE USED THE WORD OF GOD TO SPREAD HIS HATE FILLED MESSAGE THROUGHOUT THE LAND....AND THROUGH HIS ONLY SON....ME!!!!! THIS IS A GODDAMN MOVIE AND I WILL WATCH IT BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN ALL THE TROMAMOVIES AND THEY MAKE ME QUESTION THINGS ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I WAS A CHILD. SOMETIMESW I WONDER IF LIVING IN THIS LIFE IS MEANT PURELY FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF PHYSICAL PLEASURTE....AND LET ME TELL YOU LADIES NAD GENTLEMEN, THAT FOR ME WATCHING HORROR MOVIES IS A FORM OF PLEASURE....BUT DPO YOU KNOW WHAT MY FATHER DID....HE SPREAD FUCKING PAIN!!!!! PAIN GODDAMNIT........HE USED RELIGION TO CONTROL OUR YOUNG MINDS AND TO SPREAD HIS OWN PERSONAL AGENDA THAT WAS PROBABLY PASSED ONTO HIM BY HIS OWN FATHER., SOMETIMES I WONDER WHY I AM ALIVE....THIS ISPART OF THE HUMAN CONDITION....TO QUESTION REALITY....I QUESTION IT EVERYDAY....AND IF A HORROR MOVIE HELPS ME QUESTIONS SUCH THINGS./....THEN ....I WILL WATCH THE MOVIE AND NOT HAVE TO FEEL GUILT ABOUT IT....I AM A MAN, GODDAMNIT AND I AM FREE TO MAKE MY OWN DECISION. I LIKE THE FACT THAT MVOIESW RELEASE INNER DRIVES, AND CREATIVITY AND PASSION....AND I WONT LET MY FATHER, MY OGVENMENT, OR ANYONE ELSE TELL ME I AM SICK OR IT IS IMMORAL OR QHATEVER FOR WATCHING A GOODAMN MOVIE....FUCK THAT!!!! LONG LIVE TOXIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

love me some Toxie

i can almost guarantee a big budget remake would be completely garbage though

a lot of the appeal for me for the toxic avenger movies (and all Troma movies really) is the low budget feel

anyone remember the Toxic Crusaders cartoon series? that shit was boss
