The Internet isn't the problem, the internet version of One World Government (Google) is. Decentralization is the power of the Internet, decentralization and freedom. Google is out to sanitize the web and turn it into an impotent, shallow pay per view web where they rule supreme and uncontested.

We can avoid Microsoft. It's becoming harder and soon impossible to avoid Google. And once they have the power, they start banning people, organizations and ways of thinking off the Internet.

Are you sure you know how the internet works?
WTF is wrong with Microsoft? Sure they're not particularly clever and they're plenty greedy but what the hell do you expect? This is supposed to be a "free" market anyways.

They are also aiding the New World Order by helping stage a false alien invasion to trick humanity into uniting together for protection

Trick for the right reasons?  I still don't know.

I was just joking. I believe in UFOs but I'm certain humans are not the pilots.

We are at war now and it's a real conflict, don't be fooled by it's disguise.  And I guess we are at war with ourselves too.

Continued war against ourselves will probably lead to destruction with massive collateral damage.

"This term is sometimes used to describe communist states because of their single-party totalitarian stance in politics. This reasoning may be due to the Stalinist (hardline) ideal of communism, often referred to as "Red Fascism""

"the term fascist generally referred to conservative positions which prioritized the maintenance of existing social relations over various personal rights upheld by protesters and dissidents. Essentially, it served as an emotive substitute for "authoritarian", though it also described specific analytical functions – such as emphasizing the privileging of order over freedom in an opponent's discourse, the perceived racism of "imperialist" practices, or even specific Marxist theories of the origins of fascism."

"Fascism is a smear word more often used to brand one's foes than it is a descriptor used to shed light on them."

"This bias led them to conclude that fascism was merely a form of extreme reactionary state capitalism, since fascist states adopted corporatism, promoted class collaboration, protected private property and wanted to eradicate all forms of socialism."

What does any of this have to do with Google?
It seems pretty important to you... triple posting about it...

There's an edit button for a reason.

... That's not how the internet works. What you're talking about would require that Google own virtually EVERY internet based company in your immediate area.

You obviously have absolutely no idea about how the technology you're bashing works. Seriously, you can Google this shit.

My apologies if this is out of line with the current discussion but having just read the OP - I think that google are doing good things. And your totally right about google trying to create a monopoly on knowledge, but at the moment i see this as something that is serving my interests and the interests of the people. They are helping facilitate the connection of you to whatever it is you want to be connected to, and i see this as a good thing. At the moment they are making life easier for people and making things readily accessible from the comfort of ones own home. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Furthermore i see it really as a genius business plan. It really is quite an intelligent plan that has true longevity. One criticism i have to say is that recent article Wiccan posted about google sectioning the market and constricting competition was a bit alarming, but i think the law is adequate to defend such attempts currently. While i do see potential for things to turn bad, at current they havent, and at current i believe they are making things better. I like having a one stop shop that can show me the world, any book, movie, website, or information i choose.

I agree, I also LOVE to talk with people from all different countries and to watch news channels from all different countries.  It gives so many different perspectives.  The U.N. could even establish a council (without restricting anyone) as a way to utilize the wisdom of the crowd.  And then maybe consider that when policy decisions are being made.

You know how to find an answer to that. :evil2:

Nothing is free, rights must be sacrificed for the greater good of technological networking. Maybe no bubble is unburstable, Google will go the way of a supernova.

Lol, Google is simply a great way to get more information and be more informed about just about anything. Hell you can teach yourself how to do anything between google and youtube...

Right but where did they get the idea from?  Forums have been doing this ever since they were created.  If you don't like something its easy to just erase it.  Google serves companys, if something is hurting there bottom line why shouldn't they erase it?  It serves everyone who matters best interests.  Now that the shroomery is on the chopping block its not alright?

Someone has to own the internet, its fate.  Sometime soon the internet will mirror your closest playground, full of moms, camera's,and robots with large erasers.  Oh and don't forget your certificate and ID card for access to begin with, and rehab centers and ad's can't forget the ad's.

as for microsoft if you need one reason to hate them i just got done reading about how they can send a code over xbox live to scramble your hard drive and brick your system.
