I really like that poem for some reason.

My man, you need to read some Poe. That is an excerpt from "The Raven", one of his more famous works.

When I was in Middle School we had the opportunity to see some Poe works performed live by actors, word for word, on interactive sets with sounds and all the works. I was always good at writing essays, but being the stellar student I was I whipped one up at 2 am on a sleepless night (much like tonight) and to my surprise it was selected. Anyway, the whole show was fantastic and really got me interested in Poe. I got autographs from the actors and still have them somewhere.

That sort of thing was quite common back in those days. They had to marry 'em young, before they died of some horrible disease.
