When I'm stoned and read, I forget everything. As soon as I read one word and get to the next word I don't even remember what word I had just read, werd.

I read alot, like...A book every other day.

And I smoke alot. I'm more or less high most of the day, after school.

I really cant read scientific papers or something else for school while I'm baked, but I read fiction and non-fiction for pleasure while baked EVERY day. This is one of my favorite things to do.

Pot + Reading + Coffee = BLISS

I used to read books all the time while stoned at my last job. I worked at a storage facility unit as a receptionist guy, who also swept the hallways when it was really slow. A good day got 5-7 people in, a slow day (sundays especially), as many as none could show up. I was always stoned at work there, and no one really caught on. I read 5 Harry Potter books, all the LotR books including The Hobbit and Silmarillian.

I always get much more into the story, almost as if I'm watching a movie in my head, when I read while I'm stoned. It's a great experience, but I haven't done it in so long. Lately I just haven't had time.

Back in my early stoner days, i used to get smoke blueberry and read "blank slate" by stepehn pinker. nothing like tokin and contemplating bio-psychology

i definitely enjoy reading when stoned. i can remember what i read sometimes, not everytime, but if it is something i really enjoy reading about i remember it a hell of a lot better.

one thing i do when im reading while stoned though, i will read about 20 pages and then i'll get to a paragraph that really catches my attention and i will stop reading and ponder that paragraph for a good 10-15 minutes. or i'll get to that paragraph and i'll get a breakthrough idea that i want to write down and think about that for a while.

Philip Pullman's Dark Matter trilogy is awesome reading when your stoned. Total fantasy book until you realize he is talking about quantum physics and alternate dimensions. reading interests me more when im stoned..

I can read subject material, and not some. If I'm into it, I can read anything. But sometimes I'm not in the mood to read, and my mind wanders and it's useless. However, sometimes it makes the reading experience more engrossing and overall better. I used to think that I couldn't retain what I read afterward, but I realized that if I just focused and TRIED to remember it, I could.

Being stoned made me HAPPY to do my calculus homework.

I've often started writing papers, gotten frustrated, smoked a bowl halfway through, and then continued on in a much more lucid way, not to mention the ideas flow more freely and I'm not at a loss about what to write anymore--just at a loss about how to get it articulated properly.

you just have to be in the same state you were when u read to remember. i think it has a name like state awareness or something... too plastered to remember!!!
