humidity chamber for MULTIPLE cacti seed starts

i have this plastic tray for 50 different seedlings (about 1 1/2" squares)

i'm thinking of filling it with dirt, and planting about 8 or 9 type of cacti in there, and having some syran-wrap enclose the seedlings to hold in moisture. I have a bunch of type of cacti seeds to grow, so i can choose the kinds that would need similar humidity requirements.

how do you guys think i could get this to work?

i also have a bunch of 6"-wide, / deep pots, and am planning on planting groups of cacti in various pots, but i'm mainly curious as to how to get this tray to be productive.... thats a lot of eggs in one basket..

I think it'd work! don't forget to label which tray contains which.. :rolleyes:

it'll come handy later trust me

IMHO best to put multiple wraps insted of a huge one. so you can check them individually and if any tears (it may well tear, if you unwrap them frequently for looking at your tiny friends), you have to replace just one!
