If I start a Greek pantheon temple or celtic pagan community or an atheist think tank we would get the same tax exempt as a Christian church as long as we don't carry a profit or promote particular candidates in elections... and are you saying people should be denied political office based on religious belief?  If I am misunderstanding I'm sorry but it sounds like you don't respect intellectual freedom at all.

As to your quotes of Jesus they are out of context.

26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

When you read the whole passage it sounds more like that the non-Christians will be killing the Christians and that Jesus isn't going to prevent it, not that the disciples will be killing the non-believers.  Am I reading it wrong?

Luke 19:11-27
The Parable of the Ten Minas

11 As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately. 12 He said therefore, “A nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return. 13 Calling ten of his servants, [1] he gave them ten minas, [2] and said to them, ‘Engage in business until I come.’ 14 But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’ 15 When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business. 16 The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten minas more.’ 17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! [3] Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’ 18 And the second came, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made five minas.’ 19 And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’ 20 Then another came, saying, ‘Lord, here is your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief; 21 for I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man. You take what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.’ 22 He said to him, ‘I will condemn you with your own words, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a severe man, taking what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then did you not put my money in the bank, and at my coming I might have collected it with interest?’ 24 And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’ 25 And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’ 26 ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 27 But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.’”

Okay this is a fictional king whose subjects hated him... come on now...

And the winepress of the wrath of God isn't a command for Christians to follow, it's about the suffering, diseases, and warfare at the end of the Earth, when the seas are poisoned and everyone has incurable boils and rashes and pests destroy the agriculture.

That is exactly what I am saying, and how does this conflict with intellectual freedom? I grantee if any political leader came out thanking Zeus publicly for some miracle that happened in his life his political career would end instantly.

Or If the president of the United states spoke publicly about his belief in the literal existence of vampires and warewolves, people would laugh him out of the white house because it would show an obnvious intellectual decline and he would no longer be deemed psychologically fit to run the country.

Well I am saying the same thing about religions and politics. Anyone who publicly claims to believe that humans can resurrect from the dead, humans didnt evolve but rather were created in a secret garden with a talking snake, have just committed intellectual suicide and have no right sitting in the House Senate.

No its about Jesus' plans for the unbelievers in the end times. He is clear about sending the non believers to burn and scream and cry in eternal hell fire and torture. That is a pretty menacing world view for anyone to have about someone who doesnt believe your world view.

Im sorry but your argument was an epic fail and you have answered nothing.

Jesus ultimately remains unaccepting damning non believers to eternity of torture and religious belief remains void of intellectual responsibility and undeserving of politcal leadership for an entire nation.

If you believe in ghosts and resurrections and demons or satan, than you just dont belong in the white house, unless your cleaning the trash, but definitely not making decisions that effect the country.

Nopalero, you're right about that.  But even within Christianity, at least where I have lived only two groups of Christians, which are not considered true Christians by most of the rest of Christians, actively proselytize. Those would be Jehovah's Witnesses and Latter Day Saints.

Akira, that's a funny cartoon. :smile:  A president cannot be laughed out of the White House.  There is no way, if he were impeached, that he would lose the hearing.  Even impeachment is only for treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors.  If he is on the first term he would almost certainly lose the next election though. 

As for the rest of your post your opinion is clear enough that there is no point in commenting further on it.

I love how all of the atheists rag like to argue about inaccuracies in the bible, and then when someone points out a flaw in the atheists arguement, they are simply ignored.

OP's post is idiotic.

Pi is the relationship between a circle's diameter and its circumference.

Take a piece of string and cut it so it's 30cm long. Make a circle with it where the ends touch. The diameter is not going to be 10cm...I can't remember if pi relates to circumference and diameter or circumference and radius but either way, the diameter won't be 10 or 20cm.
