How long to wait to expect call after dominoes interview?

I had an itnerview at a dominoes pizza yesterday. Everything went good, and dandy. Now, I have no clue how long to wait for a call from them if I got the job. Does anyone have any opinions from preveous jobs, or whatever? Its just killing my nerves waiting. Thanks a lot guys :smile:

Wait 48 hours. Send them an email thanking them for the time they set aside for the interview.

Tell them that if they had any more questions or needed any more information that you'd be happy to provide it them.

Don't ask them if you got the job.

dude i have been on so many fucking job interviews in the last few months. i am currently working at this shitty fucking grocery store, but i used to be a fucking engineer. anyway i goto interviews all the time, and they act like they are going to fucking hire me and they are all nice and like "wow you have so much education and experience, we'll be in touch!" then they fucking wait three weeks and never send me shit. then i call them, and they ignore me. then i send them an email and they are like "o, sorry we canceled the job position".

also today i just heard that women currently out number men in the work force. and their wages are rapidly increasing and are on track to outperform men. the fucking women business analysts say this is because "women are more educated than men".

what the fuck obama you pig. i hate this fucking muslim regime of lazy fucks. i'm making 1/3 of what i used to make, and i can't even pay my college loans. i can barely afford food and my car. what am i supposed to do. fuck.

a lot of employers find it a lot easier and more appealing to decide to hire a female applicant. people seem to tend to sympathize more with women. if she's attractive and the hiring manager is a male, she'll likely get the job over an equally qualified male. if shes unattractive, and the hiring manager is female, she'll likely get the job over an equally qualified male because shes nonthreatening. its definitely easier on average to develop some emotional connection or empathy with a woman than it is for a man.

i've seen this for years in bar tending. its become exceeding difficult to find jobs as a male bar tender.

i think its mostly subconscious influences based on the way we perceive males and females.. especially in a vulnerable situation like a job interview where the interviewer knows this person probably really needs the job. when a man is put into a vulnerable situation you're more likely to see him as weak and look at him with pity. when a female is in a vulnerable situation we're more likely to sympathize and overlook any nervousness, unpreparedness or issues with prior job experience.

I can't even find a job. I have a lot of experience and I can't even get a job in a grocery store right now. I am applying at a tanning salon as I write this. :facepalm3:

I always thought that with jobs like that they either hired you on the spot, or not at all

I was under the impression "we'll call you" was just a polite way of saying 'NO' :shrug:

Dude I worked at dominoes as a delivery driver for a solid year. It was a pretty badass job, I got to drive around all day getting tips listening to music and talking on the phone with minimal human contact. And the hours are nice and flexible. Only thing I don't like is all the miles on my car.

I delivered pizza to alot of shitty areas though. Getting robbed sucks. Eventually they started targeting the bank deposit. 2-3K+ dollars sometimes. Inside job if you ask me.

But anyway, good luck getting the job :smile:

How long did you get a call after the interview? And was it quick? Mine was like ten minutes, and it wasnt businessy, it was like they were my friends? I'm really looking forward to this job! :smile:

I worked for Dominoes for 9 years and never got drug tested.

It's all about who owns the store. Most Dominoes are franchises.

I don't remember, I think it was only a couple days. Yeah, my store wasn't that businessey, it was pretty laid back. Of course, I worked with a bunch of stoners so of course it was going to be laid back. For you it might be different. Depends on your managers.

Also, on drug tests, my store never had em'. But I do know other stores did and a lot of people got fired. If they would've had one at mine then pretty much everyone would have got fired and systematically replaced by more stoners.

Honestly, I'd be clean for all tests, except maybe an advil and caffiene anyways. Regardless man, that makes me feel a lot better. This place is hard to get a job in. Thanks a lot dude.

Well, if they're anything like Pizza Hut, they fire and hire people very often.

Its just literally so hard to get a job here, and I just really want that call, I definately believe that compared to the rest of this place< i could do a much better job. Just a little eager, thats all!
