The armor doesn't effect the way your character plays. It doesn't change anything other then aesthetics.

there's also the weapon set, which is changed by just enough for you to be frustrated at the difference!

I'm sick of games being unbalanced for players that can't cope. I
I agree, re-doing the same game is boring, but that doesn't mean they can't re-invent the fps genre with a totally new game that's completely balanced and playable.

In fact, tweaking the game with something like armor systems is a great example of what you're condemning in your posts.

Anyways, I wasn't trying to flame. If perks aren't in then I'm thrilled, because I really wanted to play it with my friends.

I doubt it's my console, gaming is perfectly fine for other games, such as Halo 3. It's noticeably laggy during big battles, but prob not something a die hard halo fan would mention :P.

I'm sure they'll patch it, just a matter of time.

It looks mind bogglingly good. I have an HD tv as well, so it's like just beautiful. The lighting in that game is godlike. The sunlight busting through the clouds is so good.

I just played live on this game for about 2 hours, lag wasn't even noticeable for me. There was some choppiness on the campaign though

yep, was specifically talking about the campaign. As noted in a previous post, multiplayer is fine.

Well Halo 3 is decent, but it wasn't that good. I've heard Reach is better already, but i'll have to wait to play it.

It's even on eBay for $59. I hate paying that much for new versions of games because all they do is change a few things.

But apparently they fixed the horrible shot register in halo 3 so that alone is probably worth it.


I rented Blur a few days ago so I've been playing that. It's :awehigh:

First time I rented a game in about 4 years :lol:
