halo 3 odst

now dont talk shit to  me for liking halo cuz im guessing most of you guys hate halo but has anyone seen the commercial for the halo...i thought it was pretty funny and cant wait to play. although i think its quite stupid that master cheif is gone.

I could beat you in Halo 3.......actually not really, not too good at the game.  Halo odst does look pretty fun though, probably going to have to rent it when it comes out.

no it just quit showing picture for some reason..still have sound but no picture. its weird. know how t fix it?

Its a smart marketing strategy. If they put out a game that has a different story line and slightly different game play that is still following the halo trilogy story(but not actually connect to the main storyline) and the release of halo wars it opens up an opportunity to make it a whole genre of games all while keeping the original halo series fresh. Think of it this way if they keep pumping out the original halo series games, number 4 and so on would quickly become repetitive and the public would lose interest. Since they threw in a couple separate games in between they can continue the actual halo games in the future while keeping sales up.

I absolutely loved the first 2 and the 3rd was still pretty cool. Can't wait to play ODST. :smile:
