Spore printing question
    #1319361 -

I have picked out one of my current mushies to allow to fully mature and sporeprint. My question is this:

Supposedly mushrooms are less potent if you allow them to mature enough to start throwing off spores. How much less potent? Basically, after printing this mushroom should I go ahead and store it for later consumption, and how much will it throw off dosage measurements?

As far as I'm aware there is no solid proof that maturing mushrooms stop producing psilocybin/psilocyn

I've conducted experiments on shrooms where the veil is just tearing and fully mature ones and couldn't tell the difference nor could my friends.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

the change in potency isnt "noticable" untill it starts to rot, by then you dont want to eat it anyway.

mushies just "start" degenerating after sporulation(it takes a week or so) its not an instant change.

if your mushies are potent then they will remain that way if preserved correctly (cracker dry w/no Oxygen in storge container).
