Spore print question ?????

I have a spore print I made months and months ago on a peice of paper all folded up. It was just in a cardboard box and the paper was folded quite a few time.

Will I be able to use this print on agar, or will it be way to contaminated? Thanks for the help guys!!

If you made the spore print in a nice clean enviroment, and allowed it to dry in a nice clean enviroment, and stored it in a clean enviroment, your print will be fine. Peace.

Well I didn't tape the paper but it hasn't been unfolded since I printed it under a clean pint jar.

you can use even the shitties of prints on agar, thats the entire point...agar will allow the contams to colonize but it will allow the mycelium to grow as well, then you do agar transfers until you are looking at good, clean , healthy mycelium...

oh yeah, you only need the tiniest amount of spores on agar, i mean like .5 mm sq is enough to start agar, and thats fucking small.

Cool, but will the mycelium out grow the contams? Is it not good to put a shit load of spores on a dish, would that help?
