I would use a weak solution of bleach and water to spray down the area before you plan to use it, or something like lysol will work well too. This isn't as important for an incubation chamber as it is for the actual growing chamber or terrarium.

be carefull with what you spray near your home cinema equipment, if you are like me then you have invested tens of thousands of dolars in your home cinema and do not want it degraded in any way. I would sugjest that you find another room for either your epuipment or your mushrooms. 56' by 83' is plenty of space for an open shelf system growing room, but the environment which is needed to produce mushroom crops are also adversly affect electronics.

spray with lysol. there's air freshener kind that kills 99.9% bacteria.
