Who else thinks that microscopes are awesome?
    #12753471 -

Personally, the microscope is my favourite scientific instrument of all. It reminds me so much of psychedelic drugs cause it takes you to such wicked and unexplored places that one could hardly imagine.

Apart from that its being really useful especially in the mycological arena.

I've got three Carl Zeiss scopes and I've spent a large portion of my life looking through them.

Whats your apparatus?

Microscopes are awesome. When I was in 4th grade I got picked to take a microbiology class at the local community college. That shit opened my eyes bigtime.

It's like a whole nother dimension.

Off Topic:  :omgz: This definitely appeals to that hyperactive ten-year old in side me.

On Topic: You titled this thread wrong. It should be "Who doesn't think microscopes are cool?"

Tripping on acid and looking through a microscope was THE MOST AMAZING part of my trips so far.

I highly recommend this. You will NOT regret it.

Acid and microscopy is a win :dancer:

I've done it many times. I imagine it would be weird to watch it while tripping

I can't even begin to comprehend the level of detail I get while looking at a slide on acid. As if my brain capacity has increased and I can spot miniscule structures and intricate details that would otherwise go unnoticed.

I wonder whether looking through a telescope would be as much fun as it is with the microscope.
