Collection of randoms from the neighborhood and woods (TN)

So i went out on my second mushroom hunt. i didn't find anything active but i did find a nice variety of mushrooms that i couldn't identify to save my life. All i'm interested in knowing is do any of these look like they could be edible. i want to cook at least one of them. (i'm tired of baby bellas and shiitakes)

Anyways, here they all are:





these next ones were found in two COMPLETELY different areas. first two were found out in a pasture where cows graze (and shit),
and the 3rd was about half a mile over in my neighborhood on top of large, elongated mulch pile. (it looks like a different species)


That's almost all of them, i don't care to upload any more pictures. And don't complain about the arrangement or the size or blurriness... these were all taken by an iphone 4 camera, and i used photobucket to upload them all. i'll use the built in photo uploader next time i post something..... (something worthy of the built in photo uploader thingy). These were all found in central Tennessee, hours after 2 days of straight thunderstorms.

Main photo top left and throughout photos Lepiota cristata.  Does it smell a bit off?

In the next set of photos Gymnopus sp. followed by Coriolus versicolor and Peziza sp.

The dry things I can't see clearly, and I don't have a book to hand for comparison (sorry).

The rubbery cones are Conocybe apala.

I was going to guess Parasola plicatilis for the last ones but they look a little less dainty and the cluster suggests maybe Coprinopsis lagopus.

Sorry if I missed any, and these are loose guesses.

well.... shit. better than i could have done. say you're 100% absolutely correct. are any of those species edible? if so which? if any of these could be edible, i'll take a print and do some research.

Maybe someone will correct me but I think none of those are edible or very edible, just good practice.  :smile2:

Well thank you very much. That helped me learn about those types of mushrooms when i read about them. And yeah I really enjoyed looking for those mushrooms and I will probably do more hunting next time it rains, however in gonna save some cash up and just grow my own actives so I can finally experience a really fresh mushroom trip. If I like it and I loved growing them (which I'll make a thread to cover so I can keep it well with the help of experts), then I'll probably grow a LOT of mushrooms. They're so damn interesting. Lol.
