MISTING WITH DRAINED WATER FROM WBS

Ok you know how you soak WBS overnight then drain. Well then if you took that water that you drain and steralized it, would it work good for misting casing? Wouldn't it add nutrients to the casing layer their for better shrooms? Anyones thoughts would be great. It just sounds like it would make the shrooms grow bigger and better.

I don't think that you want to add nutrients to the casing layer...a casing layer is suppose to be non-nourishing.
This might bring on contams.
One of the main purpose's of a casing layer is to add moisture.

Actually, I have in the past done something like this. However I was/am on a no-contam hot-streak. My area seems pretty much invincible. Anyways, it has aided growth, and no contams yet. I went with 20% "Popcorn Juice", 80% water and a few mLs H2O2 per litre. Nothing amazing though, probably more risky than it's worth, especially if your area is prone to contams.
