Here is what i found Sillybilly.  It is just a brief description of why introducing CO2, as well as some other gases, helps preserve it.

Also, if prolonged storage is planned evacuating the oxygen and replacing it with carbon dioxide, nitrogen, argon, nitrous oxide, or any other inert gas will help slow oxidation, as well as the addition of antioxidants such as ascorbic acid packets or vitamin C tablets.

I bet it has to do with possibly less openings in the air molecules for it to react with thus letting it escape in the air easier. I don't know why I didn't think of that before lol.

Alright kids, here is where its at.  I live in SoCal (native to the Southland) and have been a MMA patient, in the most conservative county, since 2006.  150 dollars was waaaayyyyyy too much.  You should have grabbed a local freebie and done some comparison shopping, something to remember for you renewal.  The card allows you to grow as much as you can justify for the amount of patients living in your house.  When growing that last point is paramount.  The DEA still regularly raids legal grow operations in the state of California, but only the big ones.  Grow for yourself, household, and don't sell shit, and you will be okay with local law enforcement.  Still, when it comes to the feds California State Proposition 215 means nothing.  Keep it small.
Also, no MMA recommendation is valid in other states.  Some cards are even not valid in other counties of the same state.  Arizona (FUCK ARIZONA) has a booming business in busting and fining California residents with legal marijuana.  Congrats on receiving your card OP, to Moth and all the rest living in one of the nine states with MMA legislation, get off your ass and get your card for fuck's sake. :headbang:

Well, it still wouldn't be a Medical Marijuana system set up like Cali. Since you cannot walk into a Dispensary with your MM Card and pick out what you want. If you get "Medical Marijuana Grade" Cannabis or "Cali Bud" then that's a whole different story. People can get that all over, illegally.

It's just not the same as being able to have "Weed Shops" all over your state. Being able to freely walk in, purchase your goods and leave happily without hassle. Including being able to save money by being able to legally growing your desired amount at home, without worries (assuming it's for personal use only).

Well basically it is like that for me except I don't have to walk/drive to a place. I get all the perks, just not legally.

THC heads? wtf is that youu mean trichomes? and when the break off it will still get you high it is what makes hash and keif! and that isnt lacking in potency

You make hash and kief out of it but when it gets old, it loses its potency, so yes, that is lacking in potency

I believe it is, i know tinctures are better for long term storage so i would assume hash would fall along those lines.
