getting my med mary jane card tmrw :update! i got the card! * 1

so i finally decided to make a call and scedule an appointment tmrw to get my med card. i will let you all know how it goes

Yes you need residency.  Well, you can fake it by having your CADL.  Without CA state issued identification you won't get your MMA recommendation.

I have a friend whose brother lives out there.  He had to have a CA ID to get one, so he mailed himself a letter to his brother's house and went to CA, took that to the DMV with his birth certificate and his NC ID and got a CA ID, so it is pretty easy to get one

In NC, you need something that shows proof of residence, and whenever i move, a piece of mail shows this to change my address on my ID

Depends on the area... In more rural areas of california (mountainous, valley, etc.)  $150 is not a terrible price, in fact it's pretty average.  In bigger cities (Los Angeles, San Fran, Oakland, etc.)  a good price would be between $75-100.  I paid $80 for mine and that was for the full year.  Shop around and see what you can find.  I'd say its worth the drive if you can save $50-75 imo

I live in NC, and i would pay whatever they asked to get mine, because then i could grow my own legally without watching my electric bill every month.

ya im semi rural. as in the closest one is 45 min away to drive and cheaper docs are a lil too far to drive. there isnt a club for like a hour drive

went in this morning paid the 150, then they copied my license and got my med card paper, then we went into the room and she asked what i was going in for nd wrote in on the paper, i filled out papers and that was it. easiest thing ive ever done. i got a list of dispensaries and a list of delivery people. fucking stoked i can get any thc related item delivered to me at the same price as in the clubs! and there is a full sheet of paper with a list of delivery services and a sheet of dispensaries semi local
