you say they don't give a fuck about what they're doing....what if they don't believe in what they're doing???  Oh but I forgot, America is the world police and we can do no wrong.  My bad.  Let's just kill and destroy whenever it suits our purpose.  We have every right to meddle in affairs 1000s of years old.  Lets just stick our nose in EVERYONES business b/c we are goddam America and we sure as hell know what's right.....right?

another logic lesson for those who can't seem to separate the facts:  loving ones country and his or her own people is separate from condoning the actions of the gov't of ones country. 

Do me a favor guys, brush up your arguments before sounding like idiots. 

Besides, nationalism is just another tool to keep everyone at odds with each other, to divide and conquer.  one people, one planet. 

I love my freedoms expressed in America, but we aren't the only country where that kind of freedom is available.  But our own personal freedom has no connection whatsoever to our meddling in other countries.

Depends what country you're talking about.  There are a lot of countries I could move to where that position would be tolerated and accepted.  Be more specific.  Speaking in generalities isn't always appropriate in every situation.  This being one of them.

i agree.

there are plenty of US soldiers who dont agree with the iraq war.....but what do they do? they do their fucking jobs. cant see how ANYONE can disrespect that.

my professor said when he got back from vietnam after serving as a marine someone spit at him(it missed thankfully) he was told to not wear his uniform or memorabilia in public and etc.  Soon after he became a substitute teacher and he said a 12 year old girl called him a murderer and he basically said he was never shown any respect until years later and most of the time people scoffed at him for serving, and he still recommended we all join the marine corps, not many people have had a profession that they would recommend unless they truly believe it if that shit happened to them(spit on and crap).

He's actually one of the first few people who really planted that seed, maybe that's good maybe it's bad.
