Florida has a cheap housing market, lots of sunny weather, some great outdoors if you know where to look, as well as great year-round seasonal fruit and vegetable availability. I personally don't like Florida, but man you must really hate it.

Yes there are a lot of cubes in Florida in the Broward area and in central florida. The weather gets old. Its hot every fucking day, winter is temps getting down to the 60s sometimes the 40s. In south Florida the people for the most part are pretentious douche bags that feel that they are better than everyone else. They constantly have to flaunt how much materialistic bullshit they have. I don't know how the rest of the state is.


In South Florida there is practically no legit wooded or swampy areas with the exception of the Everglades.

I like things about FL, but it would fucking suck to live there again.

the new harry potter ride is badass. not a roller coaster per se.  it is a continuous (you load on a moving platform that never quits) sideways seating (kinda like the haunted house ride at disney) ride that lifts you off the ground. you are tossed around and put in front of some dome movie screens that move with your cart, huge animatronics, etc.. one of my favorite theme park rides ever. --- the wait in line is pretty cool, too.. at least the 1/5 of it that you are inside hogwarts. very detailed!~ (and air conditioned)

Sounds similar to the Spider Man ride. Man, that was well done too, but Simpsons was way way better!

Florida isn't the best or the worst state to be in.  Cops are dicks, but they are mostly anywhere. 

Lets point out the bad:

Lots of ignorant crackers that think the mason dixon line is the north florida border.  YEEEEEEHAAWWWW!!

Hot/humid 9-10 months out of the year. 

No seasonal change (one thing I miss about Virginia)

High unemployment/forclosure rate

illegals all over the place

Tough laws on drugs

Lots and lots of old people.....driving!

Practically every restaurant gets their food off the sysco truck.

Dumbass teenagers that commit more crime than adults do, look out for these fuckers, and not gender biased either.



Now the good:

Doesn't get super cold during the winter.  This past winter was brutal though.

Lots of nice beaches.  Especially the SW coast.

Lots of beautiful women

Awesome skies/sunsets

Wild active mushrooms

can grow MJ here pretty much year round outdoors.  But this state is a gestapo, so beware.

You can meet quite the range of people from all over here.  They all aren't from FL.  These people are usually cool as hell.  Except those New Yorkers that come here thinking they own the fucking place.  Sorry New Yorkers, but get the city dick out your ass before you come here..

I thought housing was expensive. My friend is paying $1200 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment. I only pay $600 for a 2 bed room where I live now.


I do miss the sunsets and all the active mushrooms and how plants grew and bloom year round. And alligators. I have nothing to be cautious about around bodies of water anymore.:sad:

Lol change of plans, it went from Miami Florida to Los Angelas California...I would hope this is actually a better spot to vacation.
