FSRE and uk customs

Got most of what i need for pf but no syringe and not many pennies so i was thinking of trying an fsre syringe , I'm just a little concerned about having a syringe go through customs. i was already planning to get spores from them , but this seems a little more risky to me.

Any one in uk get one? or send off and instead receive letter from customs?

Prob thinking about it too much but thought id see what you guys had to say.

wish there was another way , im massively needle phobic , just seeing one turns my stomach , guess ill be getting over that one.

also can i use methylated spirits instead of ipa for sterilization  ?

I got one of the three ml ones a couple of months ago. was fine.
Just sent off for a ten ml today.

Get one dont panic. Best 3 euro you can spend.

And you can use meths for ipa, I personally use the ipa, I know what its like when times are tough though. If you need help saving money check out hte uk supplies thread in my sig. You can also pm me if you have any questions. :thumbup:

Thanks man i have 10 dollers here so im gonna get 2 :laugh:, if i could find ipa i'd use it , i wanted it for another tech on nexus a while back but never found it , chemists just give me funny look etc. Always have trouble with chem supplies cos i don't like internet buying much.

I just sent in 2 weeks ago to fsrc and fsre.......I figured (due to asking a netherlands shop about the risks of having spores delivered to a certain state in usa) that a print will get through but syringes have a pretty high chance of being intercepted that it should be safe.
I hope i am right, lol
Has anyone heard of customs intercepting and what are the consequences?

Spores and spore syringes are legal in the UK for microscopy, etc, so customs wouldn't have any reason to hassle you about it.
