Ding ding ding.

What you do at the beach is up to you.
I enjoy bringing a cooler with ice and tasty beverages. Preferably alcoholic.
Frisbee is always good, as is tossing the football or getting an intense group game of paddle ball going.
Challenging random teams of people to play volleyball against your squad is always good times.
You can also watch the beautiful females.
Tripping at the beach is one of my favorite places in the whole wide world.
If none of this interests you then you can always do one of my favorite things to do which is float in the ocean. Take a deep breath and float on your back, ears underwater and focus on your breathing.
If someone you haven't found something you enjoy yet, then just lay in the fucking sand and catch some rays.

The beach is a lot of things, but one thing it definitely isn't is 'a waste of a day'.

You go to the beach to get all nasty and salty. And sandy. And get stung by jellyfish, or attacked by a shark.  You know, the fun stuff.

Asking wtf people do at the beach is like asking wtf people do at the mountains, or in the woods, or when they camp, or any number of extremely fun outdoor places.

Now I'll be the first to admit I generally don't like the beach
but going during a thunderstorm or at night when the bio-luminous jellies are out is Full Double Rainbow All The Way

You look at tits. Then you look at ass.

Then you go in the water and pee.

Then look at more tits and more ass.

Then eat a hotdog.

Then wash sand out of ass.

Look at more titties.

?????

Profit.

I see peoples facebook statuses all the time " going to beach" and all that. But honestly WTF do you do at the beach?! Sit there and tan and then play frisbee? WTF do you do at a beach? Seems pretty much like a waste of a day

I was at the beach today.  I'll be going back to the beach tomorrow.

We drive there, spread out a sheet, and lay there.  When we get hot, we play in the water.  If we get bored, we throw a frisbee or fill our empty's with sand and play HORSE with the beach trash cans.  We listen to music on portable ipod players.  We have fun relaxing and enjoying the wonderful gifts our unique environment has provided us with.

Where's the bad?  Learn to enjoy yourself!
