ya these beds were only made this spring. the beds i made at my parents house, well we spread fuckin chips EVERYWHERE there, were made about a month before my garden. and these mushrooms popped up there about a 3 weeks ago.
i guess they are the very first fungal settlers in my new landscape. i wonder if this happens everywhere?

Alan once told me that Coprinopsis lagopus are often the first mushrooms to fruit from new chip beds. After paying closer attention, I'd have to say I agree.

I can't wait to see what else springs out of your chip beds!

Over here theres a huge blackberry plantation just outside the creek where i hunt for psilocybes... we always get our hands on some before going down the ravine... But i have never tried blue or raspberries

ya i think black berries and psilocybes go hand in hand. my very first p cyanescen patch i ever found back in the day was in blackberries bushes that surounded our highschool.

wow youve never tried blue and raspberries? blueberries are so tasty and super high in anti oxidents and good shit like that for your body. raspberries are alittle sour but still good. i recommend you try them if you get a chance. are neither of them grown in mexico at all?

woops, i left the hose on again last night.

these little buggers are cool. i am not sure where their mycelium is. because there is planted stropharia rugosoannulata myc underneath where these guys are popping up. maybe the top 1 inch of chips isnt colonized by the winecaps, and thats where these are sprouting from.
like Bob said, i too cant wait to see what else pops up in here. its going to be so cool to document the life or death and decomposition of these wood chips.
