Damn it. My oyster culture has green specks on it that were only the faintest green tint earlier today. I need to go explore the contamination board to see if it can be saved.

I also need to go explore some more thrift shops to find a pressure cooker.

dont get too down on yourself, we all get contaminated at first.

if you want to change any of your settings, like preview before post, you can do it in the user contr oll pannel, look up to the top left of the page, there are some links below your name, click the "account" one.

also, if you see a blinky white envelope you have a private message, click on it.

I am a bit frustrated, mostly because I was very excited about something actually growing and now it's not going to be growing anymore until I can get something more properly clean set up. Preferably involving a PC.

Do they want to see *mine* specifically? Because I used to work in a porn shop and there are much more ...interesting... photos that could be posted. On second thought, ignoring those posts might be the best idea.

well, as far as the cultivation goes, you can steam sterilize 1/2 pint jars of BRF by just putting them in boiling water for 45 minutes..... im sure the tek is on here somewhere, its all i ever did. you do run the risk of fucking with your water/brf/verm ratio though. from the steam and pressure of the boiling pot... regardless, i have gotten it to work in the past.

So, im wondering what the hell im doing up at 3 am.... but youre on the east coast, an hour later. whatcha doing up so late? another natural born insomniac in our midst?

Not really an insomniac so much as a night owl. It's also partly from the heat during the day. Too hot to do much of anything but nighttime is cooler.

Do you know what would fix Newark right up is an aquarium.  Who's got time for gang violence and crack cocaine when there are tanks to clean?  I reckon an aquarium is just what the doctor ordered.  Worked in Camden afterall.
