that's fine. i hardly ever seem to get all 4 points to germinate. there's nothing wrong with it. you'll just have to wait a little longer for it to reach around the other side.

Thanks link....Thats what I was thinking also. Do you think the one from the first batch that only germinated on one side will dry out, or do you think there may be a chance for the little tike?

In my first batch, 9 jars had four germination points and one only had 3, but it quickly colonized the whole jar. No worries.

one innoculation point can still make it. it'll take a while, and if you didn't put in enough water, it might stop, but just watch and see. only time will tell.

Wait it out, its better to wait a few days and let the fully colonzied jars to sit then to start with a jar which is not fully colonized.
