Anyone have/ever had an autistic sibling that caused stress for everyone in the household?
    #12766571 -

Thats my current situation, and it blows. I used to have a lot of sympathy and love for the kid but not anymore that much, if at all; I'm almost sure hes a complete sociopath, he has absolutely no regard for anybody else, and purposefully argues with and pisses everyone off for absolutely every little thing because he knows that he will get away with it. Has a snotty attitude of the likes you've never seen. Talks back to you every chance he gets. Raises his voice, knowing that it will force us to raise our voice back in order to show that he's not the boss of the house, and he has to show respect.

If anyone here has had an autistic brother or sister, you know exactly what I'm talking about, and you know just as well as I do that it's fuckign gay. What should I do?

He might be set in a rhythm.  Get on his level and try to see and understand as he does.  No need to get pissed at the poor guy.  After all he's the one with autism not you.  Fuck, show some compassion and will to understand.  It may be difficult but he's got the same shit going on.

Pretty sure this is what OP is sick of, a complete lack of responsibility for actions.

He's smart he's just a dick. If he weren't smart, he wouldn't be so good at pushing our buttons.

He's very insecure, that wouldn't be hard, but nor would it solve anything.

maybe a massive dose of mushrooms would give you the compassion to understand his condition.

Get a job and move out. If you're old enough to be posting on the shroomery you're old enough to GTFO.

You're being a dick, you dont have autism, you can get a job, get good grades and make something of yourself. Hes an angry kid with autism and no matter what he does in his like he'll always be held back by autism.

Cant remember where I read it but there was this guy who said that if you hate the way all the parking spaces are taken by handicapped slots you go and fucking break your spine and see if it upsets you as much then.

(on a side note I have a cousin with bad Downs syndrome, she clucks her tounge endlessly. I cant stand to be in the same room as her for more then a few mins before I want to stab her in the mouth)
