Who is the next Shpongle?

When I first heard Shpongle... I thought wow this is ahead of its time.  Now, it's still awesome, but no longer really ahead of its time IMO. 

So... who is the next Shpongle? :smile:

Good question, do you mean someone who is similar to shpongle in musical style? or just an up and coming new artist ahead of their time?

The latter mostly, although I'd prefer a fusion of sorts similar to how Shpongle fuses worldly music with psychedelic electronic features.

Check out Neelix, he has been releasing allot of good new music lately and has only really hit the scene in a big way recently. I would describe his style electro Electro/progressive with psychedelic tweaks. (his older works are more psychedelic).

Some of my favorite Neelix tracks are,
- Disco decay (live mix)
- You're under control (original mix)
- Senses (oringinal mix)

As for artists similar to Shpongle, I would recommend Entheogenic. I find them more progressive than Shpongle and are definitely up on their level.

Some of my favorite Entheogenic tracks are,
- Ground Luminosity (Original mix)
- Pagan Dream Machine (Vibrasphere remix)
- Spaced (Shulman Remix)
- Aranyanyara - The Overture (Original Mix)

yeah, no offense but i don't see the appeal with bassnectar. his beats are tough but the vocals completely ruin it. personally i think older heyoka hits closer to the mark with me, but his tunes could be just a tad shorter and to the point.

Emancipator is good, he mixes in a lot of worldly sounds and actual instrumentation into an electronic sound.
