Is this going to be a double disc or just really short songs? I bet you that this list gets changed again. NO way its 20 tracks.

The only thing that burns in Hell is the part of you that won't let go of life, your memories, your attachments. They burn them all away. But they're not punishing you, they're freeing your soul. So, if you're frightened of dying and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away, but if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the earth...

IVI I sure hope so - the title implies that this may be the last Shpongle..... Hopefully they chose to double our pleasure this time around.

Even though this music has distracted me from lots of important shit, I am very excited about this release.

oh yeah!! OH SHIT YEAH!!!! OH OH!!!!

*ahem!* woah excuse me..

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

Sweet, I'm excited... btw, for those new to Shpongle, I highly recommend Behind Closed Eyelids... it's nothing short of simply amazing.

Here's what Simon Holtom from Twisted says:

Quote:

all the tracks are now quite short, but in total it's around 70 mins of music. beja flor is still there but as 3 id's instead of just the one. each part has a new name.

Quote:

realistically march, towards the end. we are just waiting on artwork
now. we are going to make the cd available on the twisted site 2-3
weeks before anywhere else.

Quote:

it is impossible to describe in a few sentences but for sure there
are elements of the first album and elements of the second like the
latino, vocals, guitars etc and many, new ideas as well. my personal
opinion is that if i could only take one shpongle album onto a desert
island it would have to be this one,  it is truly stunning.

Quote:

i will add some sound samples to the twisted site soon (like next
week) so you can judge for yourself.

Quote:

I think the new album sounds very mature and confident... it is a summation of everything we learned using the live instruments on tales of the inexpressible... but also a return to the electronic moods of shpongle 1.... but done with a more modern and psychedelic approach. i never really know where the inspiration comes from.... i guess it is a combination of everything we experience throughout life.... movies,books,relationships,experiences... but we did have a slight concept this time, if that is what you are driving at....we wanted to make an album that is like dreaming... you move seamlessly in and out of different locations and moods.... 1 minute you are at the rio carnival, and the next you are flying over the abyss.... it has re-occuring themes...but really is one large piece of music spread over an album

Cant wait to get my hands on this one.
Hope its closer to shpongle 1
