The drug scene is not worth the hassle
    #12673187 -

Growing drugs, getting drugs, doing drugs, all overrated in my opinion. The people you meet usually suck, because all the smart successful people are either quiet and hidden or in jail because they fucked up. Too many losers that try to find happiness in them. Growing is fun as hell, but you can't have friends over, or at least friends who have the slightest clue about drugs. Hell I still get people asking where to find shrooms, because I was the only hook up in town. No one knew how I got them, and I only charged them 5 bucks for up to 5 grams since it cost me to buy food cartons like raisins to smuggle them in to them in.

They didn't change a bit though, too many people just looking to get fucked up over. I was hoping their ideas would be destroyed by the experience, and get a little more appreciation for life so they can stop doing drugs to cope with their idea their lives' suck. Nope just "hey man, I was so fucked up, colors everywhere!" I thought the guys going to the army would see killing er "protecting our freedom" would be terrible after the experience. I guess I am on their level, naive, for I thought I didn't change from the experience because I already love life.

So until I find actual people who don't suck, but happen to include drugs sometimes in their life, I am out. Fuck losing my freedom for people who would huff paint if they could get away with it. Have to get rid of my supplies too, just dumped about 12 quarts of liquid culture in the woods and spawn bags are next when it is dark out. I need to clear this house of everything illegal so I can go back to what me and my friends used to best, disturb the town with potato cannons and megaphones. Couldn't do that either, because instead of being a public nuisance I would be a drug lord getting ass raped in prison. Sure I am more to myself when I am growing to lay low and obeying every law to avoid detection, but sometimes when you got to act on something less than legal you cannot due to the possibility of search warrants.

I need to find better people in general, no one kicks ass around here except my one friend, and her and I are probably going to date soon. Happy alone, but the A team of sorts slowly trickled away due to each member assembling a half ass team of losers who keep getting arrested for disturbing the peace and cannot outrun cops on foot in a semi rural area.

Sounds to me like your life sucks. People do different drugs for different reasons. Your reasons dont sound the best to me either. Live and let live. Stop trying to force your views into other people. Maybe stop worrying about everybody elses growth, and worry about your own.

Yeah I've found most people are not looking for enlightenment of life changing experiences when using psychedelics.

But you can't change people and shouldn't try. Those who do want to get a lot out of their experiences will. And those who just want to have a fun time will. That's what's so cool about psychedelics, whatever you want/need from them you will be provided.

Man, everyone's attitude to psychs was such a fucking let down. Fuck "drug users". There is little reason to associate.

I wasnt aware you had reached the apex of awesomeness. How foolish the world is for not being aware of your wisdom and maturity.

Nah I'm fine with that, just doesn't want to risk my butt going to jail if I am not giving them anything except a party in their head for basically free.

While I think your post is about 87% crying about nothing I do agree that most of the risks associated with drugs are simply not worth it. I find enough joy in life sober and take very calculated risks when doing most anything illegal (with few exceptions). I'll get off my high horse now, but anyone who thinks the penalties associated with drugs are worth the consequences is out of their fucking mind.

youre assuming that you will get caught though or have a very high chance of getting caught. when done with common sense and responsibility you have a very negligible chance of getting caught and therefore it almost always makes sense to use the drug. take a stats course and learn about expected values.

When I do indulge I try to use common sense and precaution, sometimes that's not enough. Usually I don't desire to be high on anything, and ultimately the risk / reward is not worth it for me personally.

QFT.  If you were going to get caught every time or nearly every time obviously it wouldn't be worth it.  In reality though you can reduce the risk of getting caught to almost zero if you have any sense.

Also the penalties for getting caught with cannabis are fairly mild in many places.

I love posts from self-righteous dbags acting like self-righteous dbags and thinking they're in the right in doing so.

dude, dump your shroom growing op if you want to, we don't give a fuck.  we don't even give a fuck that it's because ommggg people aren't using drugs in a way that you like!  good for you, nobody gives a fuck.  you're not right, but you are free to stop doing something for any reason.  so, whatever.  it's a dumb reason but you're entitled to it.

but if you continue running around with a smug sense of superiourity and denigrating people who actually spend time ENJOYING life rather than making pseudointellectual and trite commentary, you'll soon find that everyone considers you an intolerable twat to be around
