Emotional Weather (poem)

When I start contemplating suicide
I find it hard to shift those thoughts aside
But when the warm sun shines in
I seem to forget where my mind has been

When the sky is grey I wonder why bother with life
Is it ever really worth all this strife?
But my moods, they change with the weather
And it's a struggle to keep myself together

During those beautiful sunny days
In which great happiness does blaze
I wonder why anyone would want to die
But during the days in-between, all I can do is cry

And for those people who judge me or think I overreact
I can not begin to describe the pain of the impact
That comes with this saddened and confuesd state
Which we could forever argue on whether it is fault or is fate

With a conflicting mind I can never seem to make a decision
But in the end I guess it is my families  provision
For they are the ones who have to live with what decisions I make
And their hearts are one thing I never wish to break

Lamictal, seriously, it worked for me. No real side effects for me, no walking around zombified, drugs kept working like they should and I didnt feel "high" just more positive and more stablely so.

you probably wrote one of the dumbest things ive ever read...poetry is joined feelings displayed verbally...just because your mommy bought your boxers doesn't mean everybodies did grow up

I wrote it for my friend after he committed suicide. A lot of what is said in the poem is how he described he felt. He had such little family, but the one thing that held him back so long was what little family he did have.

To pretty much everyone who commented, you all told me that this poem was trash. Are peoples emotions trash? When you see someone down do you tell them that theyre full of shit? If you do then fuck you, its people like you who guided adam do his death.
