Energy can not be destroyed or created simply transfered. I do not agree with you whatsoever. and its not like we are here saying
thats its going to be the end of the world or anything like that.
However that is still a possibility because still so many seem to be
in love with war. But you have to understand that if we wait until the
last minute to find new energy then we are fucked. Everything will be
so incredibly expensive. People will lose jobs people will begin to get
angry and it will not be pretty. People need to get angry now!

It was starting to seem like it.  We don't even know what things like energy and information really are yet, and we think the depletion of an inefficient fossil fuel is really a threat to our continuity.  I can self-sustain, so can my family.  We grow our own food, sew our own stitches, supply our own drugs.  Would you not agree that this kind of behavior is more pro-active than war and anger?

You implied that apocolytic scenerio's never unfold in this world.

From one day to the other, with little more than a fragment of the population knowing, the stock market crashed. Official unemployment rates were 25% in the 1930's, you can find that just about anywhere.

People starved to death in U S of Apathetica, during that time, numbers were never mentioned. Without the onset of the world war, the econonomy would have remained depressed for a certain yet longer time than simply 10 years....apocolyptic scenerios happen, they happen quickly usually with no warning.

I spoke with a man who grew up during the great depression. He said that he witnessed starving communities, shanty towns, and all was a complete shock for the masses....this stuff can happen, it is rare, but there is a chance for it to happen.

However, I do agree that this scenerio with oil depeletion is not going to happen as soon as Wiccan says it will. War and disease seem to be much more immidiate threats in the next few years.

On the bright side,community's will become community's once again. With localized growing and barter shops. I wouldn't want to be in any of the biggest cities, as their hardships, I think, would be the greatest.

You are a very small percent of the population that do these things.
But you have to understand how much the modern world is dependent on oil. Its ridiculas. In no way did I say war is good and that the things
I speak of are the way to go but things are going to fall apart and
most people are not going to know what to do.

That's why we're here.  We need to help our brothers and sisters through this time.  The more that make it out the better it will be for those who survive.  We are primates for fuck's sake, we need each other to advance.  Sun Tzu said,"Leaders lead by example , not by force".  This approach should be utilized to help educate and liberate those of our kind enslaved by the current system of waste and greed.  Just wait, once I get a new video camera I'll start posting some of these things I got going.  We are in a fragile precarious balance between technology and evolution, and if we keep our heads and show some compassion, I believe we can all make it out alive.

I agree but I think some terrible things will have to happen for
people to finally realize whats up im sad to say. Keep a positive mindset
and keep people aware in the mean time.
