I'm not sure what it's called or when it comes out but I've met the kid who is Emancipator and keep in touch a bit, and I know he's mastering it right now. He is good friends with a couple I know out west.

Can't wait for the new album.

Emancipator's some of the best new music I've heard in years.
I've been exposing all my friends to it! He's only going to get bigger and better.

It's quite inspiring that he self-produced his first album at the age of 19!

OMR, you should suggest to Doug that he play in Ohio.

Maybe at one of the small fests they have at NLQP??  :awesomenod:

Yeah, I really enjoy his music.

I got a $20 iTunes gift card for Christmas so I will probably buy his new album off iTunes tomorrow.

It's also inspiring that he plays all the guitar, piano, and violin in his music. The kid has talent.

I hope I get a chance to see him perform this year!

Just finished hearing his first LP. Awesome stuff. Definitely going to put it on again later. That and this cool metal band Paria are going to be my albums for the day.

Emancipator is definitely up there in my newer favorite up and coming artists. I say up and coming because he really started getting some exposure through playing after parties and openeing for people like tDB, STS9, Telepath, etc. I really his style alot.
