yes its a bad idea. its taking an unnecessary risk.

visit the security section of these forums from time to time and youll read bust stories that start out with, so i was riding my bike with a bag of weed on me, and all of a sudden  :cop:

If you look suspicious, chances are you're going to be harassed. Because it's even easier for cops to profile you when you're not inside a vehicle.

Suspicious to police = basically any minority (hippies, blacks, hispanics, transvestites etc)

It's the same as carrying drugs on your person at any other time.

Don't carry more than you need, don't give the cops a reason to search you.

I only ride a bike, I don't drive-- and I have NEVER had issues with cops-- I've been riding for years now.

If you are worried, just find out your local regulations for bike riding. Usually you just need to have front/rear lights and working breaks. It may vary, but it is not very complicated-- another common rule is whether bikes are allowed on sidewalks or go to the road.

But don't let fear of cops stop you from riding a bike.

I live in a bike friendly city. I have done way worse then carry weed on me while riding my bike( In fact riding my bike to and from dealer is a great idea since I don't drive. Also if it does smell that smell is gonna stick around a lot longer  while walking then zooming on a bike.)

The only few times Ive ever seen anyone get in trouble while riding a bike was when they were falling over hammered. They got a DUI :lmafo:

If you have confidence and an attitude of not giving a fuck cops will never bother you.


Hell at critical Mass I even regularly drink and smoke weed while riding my bike downtown and that's with a police escort. Only rule no glass. Naked bike ride is fun too as long as you dont have a bannana seat

It's only a bad idea to ride around with weed if you haven't already smoked some.  Riding bikes high is the best!

The bicycle is my preferred method of transpo for shady dealings.  In my city, the cops never fuck with cyclists, and depending on what bike I'm on, I can often get away.  I also minimize my potential contact with LE by sticking to off-street bike paths whenever possible.  Anywhere a police cruiser can't go, the cops usually won't.  Those fatasses won't do anything unless they can stay sitting down.
