I'm not sure who here holds the position that religious folks are nutters. Whoever they are, they should recant after reading this keen bit of insight: BBC news

Promiscuous women are responsible for earthquakes, a senior Iranian cleric has said.

Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi told worshippers in Tehran last Friday that they had to stick to strict codes of modesty to protect themselves.

"Many women who do not dress modestly lead young men astray and spread adultery in society which increases earthquakes," he said.

Tens of thousands of people have died in Iran earthquakes in the last decade.

Mr Sedighi was delivering a sermon on the need for a "general repentance" by Iranians.

"What can we do to avoid being buried under the rubble? There is no other solution but to take refuge in religion and to adapt our lives to Islam's moral codes," he said.

Fuck, original sin is alive and well I see. Glad we can still blame it on women though.

When Iran has artists like Lady Gaga, then they can justly bitch about how loose women have become. Everyone grab your burka!

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!

See, the act of pushing people down stairs till they stfu was designed for that guy. If I had to hear him first thing in the morning and not serve him punches for breakfast he'd better have a detailed study proving the whole titties-earthquake correlation or at the very least a fucking FABULOUS power point with like sound effects and custom slide transitions and shit.
