are my plants fucked and san pedro at wal mart.

well first let me just say my cable installing days are over. it was some long ass hours. 6 days outta the week then work every third sunday. :wtf: that shit totally sucks. so i'm gonna be a rouigh neck again. hard ass fucking job with 2grand pay for a weeks worth of work. then one week off.

only thing is, what can i do to keep my plants alive while i'm away for a week at work? i asked my wife to do it but she said she doesn't like that stuff.

so pretty much they are on their own. i am not worried about my cacti be cause well they're cacti but all the rest will definitly perish in the texas sun. especially where i live. they won't last 3 days with out water.

so can any body offer me some advice as to how i can keep them alive.

and the second thing. for those wanting a san pedro they are at wal mart already. i seen em at 3 different wal mart so those that don;'t have them but want them they are there. and go before the run out because they do go fast.

Sucks to hear your new job didn't work out but glad you have found something better suited. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy..:tongue2:


Mulch and set up an irrigation system, this can be as crude as a large soda bottle filled with water, poke a hole in the top and then place upside down and bury into the soil next to the plant. This will keep it alive long enough one would think.

If you have enough money a drip system irrigation hose can be used, just set it up to mains water, install a timer and it will do all the work for you. Any good irrigation retailer will be able to point you in the right direction when it comes to what you need. I would have a look into it if you have the money.



Surely your wife could water at least once a week. Maybe explain the monetary value of your plants, women seem to respond to that sort of thing. :tongue:

my second family in the EG is awesome.

i will probably do the water bottle thing at first. i could ask the people that go and cut my mother in laws grass, as they are landscape people and ask how much it would be.

the bottle method for sure. once the money rolls in then its good times.

i got her to change her mind. she said she would do it.

i'll just leave her a watering schedule. then i got to look into some kinda drip system.

money wise things will be awesome but that don't mean shit if my plants ache.

do you know how hard it was to thin my poppies? i wanted to cry. literally.

i just hate for them to suffer. if they ache i will not be happy.

Well,I have about 10 Tomato plants left,and half my Bolivian Rainbow Peppers made it,as well as a bunch of other different types of chillies.I also have a few poppies,and some N.rustica,various cacti,Grapefruit seedlings,a Lemon tree,and Khat.Oh,and my Loquat tree from Florida.That's about all I have room for.Boy,do I miss Florida:crazy:

its really humid in florida isn;t it? i bet morning glories would do great there. i could not make them grow for shit here in texas.

hehe,you're funny,but yeah,it's really humid there,and they grow out of control.I have one heavenly blue that's trying to hang on.Hopefully she will make it.
