Im so fucking sick of employment applications asking me about a felony I got back in high school for Christ sakes! WTF does my criminal record have to do with my ability to work for your buisness? Im not a fucking sex offender, or a womanizer.....so why do you give a shit about my personal past.

Is your company above the employment of criminals? Are you guys too fucking good to hire "Those types"? KISS MY ASS ANY EMPLOYER WHOS FUCKING BASING MY ABILITY TO WORK OFF A MISTAKE I MADE. GO FUCK YOURSELF ALL OF YOU AND I HOPE YOU LOSE YOUR BUSINESS IN THIS CRUMBLING ECONOMY.

Depends on the bussiness bro. I'm my field the state won't allow us to employ anyone with anything more than a class c mis. It sucks cause I got friends that would be great for the job but rules is rules. Although it sounds like someone was just being a dick. What kind of business turned you down?

In a bad economy, why would an employer want to hire a felon over a nonfelon? Being a felon just proves that you were once a "bad person" by law, and as an employer, why would they want to take ANY potential risk that you'll fuck them over in some way(even if it's just cheating on your time card).

Yeah i am a Felon too. Went through that shit for a few years then i decided to start my own business so i dont have to answer to anyone. Its the way to go if you know a trade well.

damn dude. you could look in construction work. they will take just about anyone for manual labor so long as you work hard.

you could also lie about it on your next application. honestly, if it's just a local coffee shop, they aren't going to do a background check.

Being a felon does not make you disabled, it just makes you an unappealing candidate for employment considering so many other people who aren't felons are also needing jobs right now.
