Right, and calling someone a nigger with a racist intent disturbs the peace. Saying it like he's your homeboy, in the correct context, is not a crime. The difference? Intent. What's not to understand?

What if the stupid white boy's intent is just to act like a homey but the Negroes don't take it that way?  Does he get arrested for bad taste?  Failure to assess a social situation properly?

You have the right to offend people in this country.  So far.  If people like you ever get control probably not.  But I still will.

Me?  That isn't my deal.  Of course, you aint getting there for $300 either.

I have hated flying and the whole crap sandwich involved since before there were even Cuban hijackers.  The security is the least of it.

You'll like this.  Every time I fly I get pulled for extra scrutiny.  It isn't because I have the same name as a corrupt Dem politician either.

Can you?

I called a black man a nigger at work with the intention of provoking a
white man, seems that none of the blacks cared very much, in fact they
all laughed like hell at the reaction I got

the exact statement "hey pillow biter, I hear you're fucking stephanie,
what's that niggers dick taste like to you?"

now answer this, does a speach impediment make the word a term of
endearment or is it still the same because I hear blacks saying it
all the time

There are lots of hate crime laws on the books. If you beat someone up, it may be simple assault. But if you say the word "nigger" while or before or after doing it, it becomes a hate crime and instead of a misdemeanor its a felony. And the newspapers will work themselves up into a self rightous passion of political correctness and call for your head. The judge and prosecutor after reading the paper will deliver up your head as asked. Nothing unfair about that, is there?

They can't arrest you just for saying it but if they can make up a crime to go with it, then you are toast. The "crime" might be loitering or anything.

Saying the word has gotten lots of people fired from their jobs. The media once again acting as self appointed guardians of what people should do and say are always screaming about that. Not about saying cracker, honky or the like. Only for saying nigger, darkie, black or the like. Nothing unfair about that, right?

I'm hearing lots of arguments about intent and so forth, but isn't hateful intent itself protected?  What if you do use the n-word out of a sincere belief in racist ideology, for instance?  Why would that not be covered by the 1st Amendment?

It is. It's only when it leads to crime that it in itself becomes a part of that crime. Hence why hate crime laws have never been struck down based on 1st amendment rights.

in these hate crime instances it's not the speech that leads to the
crime, the intent for the crime was already there, the speech was just
incidental in the commission of the crime

It's still horseshit. They claim they are not punishing you for your speech but they clearly are. They get away with it by pretending they are punishing  you for the other crime but that is just the excuse. The other crime allows them to make your speech a crime too. The bill of rights has been completely shredded by now. The pat act which obama signed again takes away our fourth amendment rights. Govt can do anything they want now. Orwell was right!

What 4th Amendment rights were removed by the Patriot Act?

"What 4th Amendment rights were removed by the Patriot Act?"

Welcome to the 21st century. If you will recall, the 4th gives certain protections

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized..."

And these warrants must be issued by a magistrate or judge. The pat act does away with all that. You probably like it because you imagine it will only be used against muslims.

Well that was particularly obnoxious of you.  Where did it say they must be issued by a judge?  Does that Amendment refer in any way to combatants in the field of battle?  Why do you think the judiciary is not a part of the government?  Are you aware that the words "unreasonable" and "probable" are subjective and open to vastly differing levels of interpretation?  Did you know that Japanese American citizens were interred en masse long before there was ever a Patriotic Act?

While we're at it perhaps your brilliant Constitutional self can find me the part of the Constitution that requires Miranda warnings and state supply of an attorney.

I sure as hell hope so, therefore the next time J.Jackson and I contemplate cutting off Obamas balls "'cause he talks down to niggers" we both will be protected.

It's allowed. As a white you are 50 times more likely to be victimized by a black than a white. Blacks commit far more crime against whites than do whites against blacks. Ironically whites are more often charged with hate crimes. I guess when blacks commit the crime it is due to tough love.

The word nigger hasn't been used at EVERY lynching I've been to. Usually we call them melanically gifted. And any self respecting redneck knows ropes are no longer employed, logger chains are far more efficient, as complicated knots are unnecessary.

Therian is correct but you can't find the proof of it because they hide it now. White crime stats are mingled with hispanic to make them higher. Political correctness has trumped the truth for a long time now. Some stats just aren't available to the general public. Wasn't it hitler who had book burnings? Good thing we don't do that here.

The truth will get you locked up, your job taken away and a nasty article in the paper. Avoid the truth at all costs, be pc or else.
