Decide my future! :cool:

I am deciding between either being a homeopathic doctor or a psychologist, or a pharmacist. :ooo:

I would find the most interest in being a psychologist who is involved in hypnotherapy. I don't know anything about the field.:confused:

Homeopathic doctor would be interesting and rewarding for me.:chillin:

Pharmacist would make me good money. Perhaps I could get an early retirement. :bobmarley:

My interests are as followed: The Mind and how it works (Psychology: Conditioning, hypno-therapy, The Unconscious), Spirituality, Nature, Nutrition in the body, Chemical effects on the brain, culture.

My disinterests: Loud, continuous noise; lots of people; extended periods of cold weather, lack of nature.

I have trouble setting and working toward one goal unless I can find motivation. And as sad as this sounds, I am strongly motivated by other people. Therefore your opinion on this is essential to my future path.

I am posting this on Shroomery since we members of the community most likely share many interests or disinterests.

What would you do and what would your reasons be?

Most importantly: do what you think will make you happiest.

That being said, I think it would also help to read about the long-term prospects of each career. If homeopathy, how do you feel about a career in a field widely dismissed by mainstream medicine? Is there a high demand for homeopaths? Pharmacists? How much money do you need to make through your career to live comfortably? All those questions are important, but stay true to yourself and you'll find what you're looking for.

Be all of them... eventually. Then the tough decision is what you want to do first.

Don't do psychology if you're mainly interested in hypnotherapy cause universities won't teach you what you need in order to be a good hypnotherapist. You can easily become a hypnotherapist without being a psychologist.
