Who here has watched Yellow Submarine on a psychedelic and who here hasn't? What did you think about it. Personally best movie ever.

Yeah I actually just got my order in for it yesterday, planning to watch it again today, sober for once.

There is a 3d version coming out. It's going to be directed by Robert Zemeckis. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1497630/

I bet it will be pretty awesome. They got the rights to all the original songs, so no Across the Universe bullshit

Does an HD version of Yellow Submarine exist? Or is there an HD re-issue in the works? After owning an HDTV for so long, watching 480p makes my eyes bleed ><

I'm kinda wondering if watching te standard definition version in high definition would make any noticeable difference.

I don't know if an HD version of the movie exists or not.  But as far as the new movie is concerned, I have a feeling that it won't be that lame.

I am so worried about this 3D yellow submarine movie... I hope this director does acid and can make it at least half as good as the original... its a disney movie btw... this is gonna be fucking ridiculous

yeah i'm sure it couldn't beat the original. but to be honest seeing it in 3d would be absolutely awesome :awesome:

I think it's going to be pretty good because they're going to use the original Beatles music, not some lame cover band.  And it's going to be a cartoon again, so I'm sure they will try and make it very trip friendly.  Perhaps it will allow younger people to consider the idea that we are the dead, gray, Pepperland and that we need a powerful force, as The Beatles were in the movie, to bring everyone back to life.
