The movie itself simulated the emotions and peaks of a trip almost perfectly, imo. It's like a condensed trip. I'm almost certain they wanted you to drop cid before seeing it so you could come up right as the movie starts and get transported into a happy trippy Beatles world for 2 hours.

I've yet to see it, what kind of fan am I :sad:

My favorite trip movie (although it's not really one) was 2001 a Space Odyssey. It's so static then it just explodes at the end.

this guy in charge of it is pretty legit. he might work for disney but i'll keep an open mind about the film. read the first paragraph of this section:

youve never heard of Zemeckis? hes def one of the most respected directors out there. Forrest Gump, Back To The Future, Polar Express, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Contact, etc. dude has had a hell of a career.

it may be disney behind things but i think they will give him a lot of freedom simply because of who he is.

It's sad, i've seen every one of the films you listed but i am just really bad with names, always have been :P i really liked contact. the plot was im...probable. but very thought provoking
