Yellow Submarine is being remade in 3D!

At least that's what I heard on the radio this morning.

It's being directed by Robert Zemeckis (sp?) the guy who did the Polar Express and A Christmas Carol

and the best news of all....


they got permision to use all the origional beatles music so there wont be any Across the Universe bullshit

I've yet to see the original one, I always thought it would be kind of gay. But then Across the Universe came out, and I realized what gay really was.

Like the Beatles would hold back on a chance to make money :lol: :rofl2: :lmafo:

I really liked the original Yellow Submarine. But I think it's pretty messed up that the Beatles hated Disney and made the blue meanies wear Mickey hats, and then Disney is the one re-making the movie. I hope they don't screw it up.

But I'm totally :tripping: and seeing it in theaters.

Across the Universe did a good job at remaking the songs i thought.  They purposely made them different.  The plot.... well... it's debateable whether that was very great.
Alice in wonderland is being remade in 3d as well in IMAX too, im very excited.  If yellow submarine was re-made too... well.. that would be almost too good.

You could tell that the original artists and animators of the movie were psychonauts or did a lot of "research." I fear this new one will be made  sober and all clean and no one of the artists on the art team will bother doing drugs.

Well you can't deny that Beatles music is about drugs and I think if they tried to change that it would just come out aweful.

I like that though. "We had to take a bunch of LSD, not because we wanted to see what psychedelics were, but so we could study the for our film!"
