I have an interview next November.

New store opening right where Haight St meets Golden Gate Park and I want to run the Meat Dept. 

I already know my competition and it could be tough soo I have just mailed myself a letter via certified post.

The letter says

"To whoever is interviewing me for the Haight St Store.

I have wanted this for a long time and I am your best candidate."

Then it's signed by me.


I think this will be the edge I need and if I get the job I will get to move to downtown SanFrancisco.

I wonder how long it will take to get a letter I mailed to myself?

I sent the letter so that I have something dated that says this is what I want.

I am doing my research for the area too.  I will need to know all about the neighborhood and its people before the interview.  I will also have to do whats called due diligence and volunteer to work in the neighborhood before November.

All this just to run a meat department but they will pay me $25hr in the city and in a busy store I should bonus 10K a year.

Mostly I just want to live downtown.
