felony charge pending

ok so even though my lawyer sounds SURE that he can get my charge dropped (intent to distribute), my charge is still pending and i'm REALLY trying hard to find a part time job that won't care once they do a background check.

i'm going to apply to a clothing store later, and i was wondering if there's any chance they would still hire me once they see a pending marijuana charge?

I'm not sure about a clothing store. Normally restaurants are the felon's best friend.

clothing stores rarely care about drug charges, they're more concerned with theft or fraud

a friend of mine had his intent to distribute charged dropped by a public
defender, he sold 10 hits of LSD to a cop

As a convicted felon I believe i have some merit in this thread :strokebeard:

PIZZA SHOPS! Best soner/felon job ever. Ive worked at 3 different shops and every one of them was full of X convicts, stoners, and chill people! They dont background check (unless its somewhere shitty like Round Table :bored:.) And if you get a job at a NY style pizza shop you get to learn how to throw dough in the air and everything. Kids will stare in amazement and your PO could never be happier :rockon:

i would mann especially for delivery, but down south there's not nearly as many pizza places as there are in NJ. mostly just chain places that do background checks (i couldn't work at papa johns because of past speeding tickets)

That sucks man. What blows is im in between jobs myself. I cant apply at any major stores because of my felony. Definitely try to avoid a felony charge at all cost. Luckly ill be abble to get it off my record once my probation is over. I forget what word they use, but it will make it so no jobs will be able to scan me for it or hold it against me.
