Does anyone know a good free program for taking songs off of your ipod and putting them on your pc or an external hard drive? My Ipod might be shitting the bed soon and i dont want to lose all the music Ive collected.:frown:

Sharepod is the way to go..
Download
In short, you can:

Get songs from Ipod to computer
Get songs from computer to Ipod
..same with pictures, videos, etc..
You can play your tunes from within sharepod as well,
& it works with mac and windows

Download the file, extract the 'sharepod.exe' file to your Ipod root directory.
Run the .exe from your Ipod's root directory.
The program will open, it's fairly self explanatory from there.

I spent the past week tryin to find a free program like this for my iPhone since most charge money after the first 100 songs are taken off well I finaly found one I could use for free that worked with my sisters mac an now later tonight I see this thread.
