Furthur festival (The dead)
    #11957008 -

Anyone planning on hitting any of the shows next week in NC? Asheville and Charlotte are on the schedule....not sure of the rest of the week. Going to be a cold scene in the lot with the temps. Just wondering if anyone here was going.....sold out tour......although I *could* have a couple of available tickets.... :sunny:

Nope, not in NC.  I'll be hitting up Barton Hall at Cornell, Radio City Music Hall in NYC, and Trump Taj Mahal in AC. Should be TITS!

Well shiiaat! Hoping to get rid of the 2 tix I have seeing the rugrat sitter fell through.:mad2: Not that I want to miss the show by any means. Just means I have to travel with the whole famdamily and see what I can muster out of the tix in the freezing cold. Looks like I`m doing the lot scene doing what biz I can so if anyone`s going to be @ the 2/9 show let me know. I`ll be there somewhere...... :snow:

Get there early if you want to make some money (or just refund) otherwise you're gonna be dealing with all the left over stragglers who have nothing to offer.

That`s what I had hoped was arrive early publicenemy cause we were going to hawk some glass etc....but now it looks like darkish before I can get there. And with travel time and interest on my credit card I`ll lose $ selling them at face value. Just pisses me off the family member who knew about this for 2 months all of a sudden bails on me. And the tix weren`t cheap @$70 each. Crying shame you can`t depend on family.....but, what comes around goes around. I can forgive but I don`t forget....:mad2:

Stabler Arena, Bethlahem PA baby! Probably the best venue on the tour!:stonedjerk:

i hear ya teeter! Luckily look like things are coming together for me here. Asheville`s kinda hippie friendly.....has to be wth the saturation level.:rasta: Seen several shows at the venue and it only holds 5-6,000. Not really any bad seats you know? Trying to get my enthusiasm back after the going...not going....maybe going....definitely going....definitely not going....and now cautiously hoping to go. I wish the rest of the world could get their shit together!

Honestly when that shit happens to me, I just buy my ticket and they can come if they want to. I've only ever had that backfire so that I had to go alone (it was Phish too, but day before Thanksgiving...), but the one time it happened and I ended up down in Philly at a show alone, I still had a blast. I felt a little wierd being there without anyone I knew, but everyone was tripping and rolling and smoking teh nugz. Great environment, I just chatted up the people next to me during breaks and what not and by the end we were sharing a bowl and having a blast. Obviously this is fun as like a one time thing, it would suck if it was a frequent thing. Point is, don't let flakey mother fuckers who say they're in and then back out ruin your chance to see a great show.

Seems to be good to go teeter. My other half is still in with me. It`s just someone who promised 2 months ago to watch the kiddies that messed things up. Think I got that worked out. :bitchsmack:

I agree.....going to  show solo could be ok but for the most part you want to go with the intended person....especially if it`s the one you love. :bigkiss2:

And what gets me is everyone`s trivial BS they come up with that they somehow can`t follow through to help you out! Ah well....had my tix for almost 2 months so just going to be positive and believe it`s gonna happen.:stoned:

I wanna go to the one in Asheville, I'm dying to meet up with Lucy too. Wonder how much the tickets will cost at the show?

I'm looking forward to Charlotte, I'm going with a couple of friends but neither smokes.  It will be an interesting night to say the least.  The band sounds amazing based off what I've heard on archive.org so I'm hoping it's a truly mind melting show.

tix for 2/9 came to $147for 2 from a retailer. $147.  All the same price but not GA from what I understand. Actually having seats on the floor the way tix have been sold on ebey. So if you all are going for $50-60 more power to ya. Seems this one`s a pricey one. Hmmmmm...$70 per ticket.....Phil turns 70 soon. things that make you go hmmmm.

Oh, well if your kids need to be watched thats a different story. And yeah, going up with the intended person(s) is more fun; I just meant that you can always go alone if everyone is loser and bails.

I checked Ticketmaster and 2 lawn tickets for tonight would've been $95. I went on Craigslist and found them from someone for $25 each

Also check it out - listen to the New Years shows (and some others)
